EVESHAM UNITED FRIENDLY: Manager’s preview + opportunities

Tomorrow, we play our final pre-season friendly, at home to Evesham United (3:00 KO).

The game will offer a great opportunity to buy tickets for our upcoming FA Cup tie away to Alvechurch, sponsor a player for the 2018/19 season (where you will get a picture with your player, that will feature in our matchday programmes and on our website) and purchase season tickets.

Manager Bren Kelly has looked ahead to the Evesham fixture by reflecting on the pre-season thus far.

“As we approach our final pre season friendly, I would first like to thank the board for their support in helping me go and get my summer targets in regards to new signings,” he said.

“I think the squad has grown with quality, on top of what was already a title winning team.

“As you all know, there are no points at stake in pre-season, but it was important that my staff and I created tough tests for the lads so we could learn more value about how we can improve them further individually and as a team; which I think we achieved, especially against higher opposition.

“The squad has a good balance to it and is almost complete, so I’m very please with our pre-season.

“Big thanks go to all our fans who travelled to all our away games and a massive thank you to all the volunteers, helpers and people who have offered their time and hard work to have the ground looking in fantastic condition as we embark on a journey into the somewhat unknown in many ways. Can’t wait to get going for real.”
