Some gritty performances all round but a magnificent save from Deana when the game was finely balanced earned credit from the ref and opposition.

  • The U8 Whites also playing in the Winter Cup, beating SJB 2-0 and drew 1-1 with Meadow Park, so they go through to the next round, Tyler Reuben scored all 3 goals and was POM.

  • U16 Superstars held the league leaders Four Oaks Tigers to a 2-2 draw, the first points Tigers have dropped. Goals from Jack Groves and Joe Wathen to seal a great team performance.
  • The U18 Shamrocks beat the only team in the league with a 100% record 3-2. An entertaining game from the off, Shamrocks missed a couple of early chances but took the lead through a great left foot shot from Jake Fowke, only to be pegged back as Celtic equalised on the stroke of half time. But with two well taken goals in the second half from Chris Geraghty & Niall Doherty, Shamrocks took the 3 pts.
