Saturday 2nd March

Little Colts

On Saturday morning, our new U7 Greens and our U6s travelled to Evesham to play in a tournament – the U7s started slowly against teams who seemingly had more tournament experience, losing some tight games, but started to get their rhythm, winning the last two games, some great team work seen and a couple of cracking goals.

It was more or less the same story with the U6s, losing their first two before they got going, eventually winning two and drawing their last game. A worth while experience for the young Colts with more tournaments to come.

Midland Junior Premier League

  • Bedworth United 7 – 1 Bromsgrove Sporting Colts U15 Reds: The lads just never got going, Lewis Grocott scored.

  • Gresley 3 – 2 Bromsgrove Sporting Colts U16 Reds: Colts bowed out of the cup in a close game – Dan Jarvis and Adam Houghton scored, Harvey Robinson was POM.

Central Warwickshire Girls Football League

  • Bromsgrove Sporting Colts Sirens 1 – 2 Sutton Coldfield Royals: Sirens were unlucky not to get something from the game. Courtney Barrett scored, the whole team were POM.
