COLTS RESULTS: Weekend 21 – 22 September

A round-up of the Bromsgrove Sporting Colts’ action over the weekend just passed; here’s how they got on…

– There were seven development games resulting in five wins, a draw and a loss


  • (C) Kidderminster Lions 6 U11 Reds 0: MOM Charlie Ellson.
  • (L) U16 Reds 3 Pacesetter Sports 2: The team’s first win of the season was a exciting battle at the Ryland Centre; goals from Connor, Andrew & Nashon, with a superb strike from outside the box in injury time to win the 3 points. MOM Sam Hurdman.
  • (L) U17 Reds 2 Oxford City 1: An own goal and one from Jon Troth, MOM Hugh McGowan.


  • (C) Bourneville Greens 3 U10 Colts 0: The Colts fought hard in the first half but fell away in the second. Max Hinks was MOM.
  • (C) U11 Reds 9 Knowle Tigers 1: Another brilliant performance. Goals from Josh Mullins (x4), Leo Cerrone, Fin Edgington, Ethan Evans, Samsu Ndong & Callum Preece. MOM Josh Mullins.
  • (C) Sutton Coldfield Town 0 U11 Whites 18 (Eighteen): A great all go performance from the lads; goals from Alfie Fowke (x4), Riley Haddock (x4), Charlie Ellson (x3), Jake Bate (x2), Akintunde Akingbola, Callum Lygo, Alfy Ledbetter & two for goalkeeper Ben Jackson, who was also MOM.
  • (C) U12 Colts 0 Boldmere St Michaels 4:The lads gave a good account of themselves and should be proud, as they lived with a team three divisions above them for most of the game. MOM Olly White.
  • (C) U13 Athletic 3 Sheldon Royals 3 (a e t) – Athletic won 3-1 on penalties: Goals from Corey, Liam & Harvey. MOM Riley
  • (L) U14 Gators 1 S J B Juniors 5: A great team performance in the first half at 1-1 but a very different story in the second half. Goal from Ik Muojekwu.
  • (C) Redditch Borough 1 U15 Colts 0: MOM Will
  • (L) U16 Whites 5 Maypole Lions 4: Goals from Harry Neal, Tom Fowke & MOM Kieran Smith (x3)
