COACHES’ CORNER: Kev Barry previews Bedford Town

Ahead of our visit to Bedford Town on Saturday, first team coach Kev Barry previews the fixture, as well as reflecting on what has been an emotional time at the club.

“After a fantastic result against Barton last week, where I must add the lads were outstanding and gave their best performance to date, the focus quickly shifted to the memorial game for Thomas Jones.

“Much has been written about the evening already – outstanding support from the people of Bromsgrove, great commitment to the game both on and off the pitch from the RAF Football Family, and excellent effort from all involved with Bromsgrove Sporting FC… I again echo all those words.

“Planning for tomorrow’s game took another sad turn after the passing of Brendan’s father on Thursday. It goes without saying that the thoughts of the fans, players and staff are with Brendan and his family right now.

“Tomorrow we head to Bedford – one of the league favourites. We are in good shape and set off with a group of players in fine form.

“They continue to compete at every opportunity at the top of their game to get into the starting 11. We are full of confidence and will look again to get a positive result.

“We look forward to seeing as many fans there as possible – you really do drive us on #Rouslers”
