Ahead of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup match with Stourbridge (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has looked ahead to the fixture, with the urgent need to bounce back after two losses and the science of cup matches on the agenda…
“This week, we are back into cup football, as the famous trophy is back at the VG, in a very tough tie against an in form Stourbridge.
“It’s a huge opportunity of redemption for us to put things right in regards to our work ethic.
“After two very encouraging and positive training sessions, the lads look hungry and pumped up to put in an acceptable performance.
“In many ways, cup ties are always very exciting – end to end games, with lots of incidents; however, I feel this maybe another cagey affair.
“We all looking forward to it and hope the Sporting faithful will continue to support us.”
