COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews Stourbridge

Ahead of our Bank Holiday Monday league match versus Stourbridge (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has looked at our opposition, as well as reflection on Saturday’s FA Cup win and a rallying cry for fans to support us in this upcoming fixture.

“This Monday Bank Holiday, we face Stourbridge, as we head back into league action.

“I was very pleased with the amount of chances we created on Saturday in the FA Cup and would have liked us to scored more – but we won and we are still in the hat, so that’s what’s important.

“Having two games in three days is difficult for all squads and we have had to be careful with how we use our players.

“With an unbeaten start to the season thus far, we can go there with confidence but I’ve no doubt it’s going to be extremely difficult against a very talented squad and management team in Stourbridge, a huge club and a very well respected non league team.

“It’s exciting to be rubbing shoulders with them and the lads are looking forward to it.

“I do hope we bring a big following to the game, as we try give another good account of ourselves against one of the favourites for the league.”
