Ahead of Saturday’s league visit to Coalville Town, manager Bren Kelly has expressed his excitement in anticipation of the game and analysis of the opposition, plus reflections on Tuesday’s Tamworth success.
“This Saturday, we make a trip to Coalville – a real good footballing team, with a brilliant manager and chairman.
“I have fond memories of past encounters with them as a player, so I’m looking forward to returning to Coalville.
“Following Tuesday’s win, the lads are feeling good mentally and physically, we seem very good also, with no new injury worries (excluding the ones we already have), so I should have a good number of players to choose from.
“Coalville finished the season extremely well last year and have started very well this year, so it’s an extremely tough fixture as, they again, are tipped to do really well this season.
“Albeit only two games, but we are both unbeaten, so it is set up to potentially be a very close game.
“I certainly hope we repeat the same support as we did Tuesday – the Sporting faithful were amazing, and we will need them again Saturday.”
