Ahead of Saturday’s Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central encounter versus Cambridge City, manager Bren Kelly has talked the need to bounce back after last weekend’s disappointment and an injury update.
“This week, we host Cambridge City – another tough fixture but I’m glad it’s a tough one, as it gives us a good chance to right our wrongs from last week – bad defending and bad finishing.
“What happens around both boxes in a football match tends to have a huge baring on the end result and that was proved last Saturday.
“On a positive note, we remain unbeaten at the VG in the league and will look to continue that on Saturday.
“Squad wise, we are sweating on Charlie Dowd’s fitness – otherwise, we have a full squad available.
“The squad will most certainly be used in the final four games and shirts will be up for grabs for the play off semi final .
“My team talk will be very easy this week and there is plenty of incentive to make the lads want to achieve the right result.
“Mindset is the threat to us at the moment, so we will want to get that right as we prepare for another tough game.
“Cambridge are in a false position in my opinion, so we will have to play well to get anything.”
