Ahead of Saturday’s league match at home to Barwell (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture, looking at the range of reasons as to why a big performance is of vital importance.
“This weekend, we try to get back on track with our home form – it’s really bugging me that I still cannot fathom as to why our home form is so poor, especially in games when we have been given the chance to capitalise on others around us dropping points.
“The less said about our last game against Barwell the better; I think we can all agree it was a very dark evening for the club, given the manner in which we crumbled.
“This does mean the incentive to put that right is obvious and the team talk should be a very easy one, you would have thought.
“Games like these are crunch games and I’ll be asking the lads to stand up and be counted and put everything on the line as always.
“Your support would be massively appreciated – we need each and every one of you to get behind the lads and truly be our 12th man.”
