COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews Aylesbury United + Coleshill Town

This Easter weekend sees us travel to Aylesbury United (Saturday), before welcoming Coleshill Town to the Victoria Ground (Monday), in two Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central encounters. Manager Bren Kelly previews both games here…

“We travel to the home of Chesham for a very difficult fixture against Aylesbury United this Saturday, then we face Coleshill at home on Monday.

“Obviously it’s not mathematically certain that the title is going to Peterborough, but I am a realist and I know it’s highly unlikely they will slip up.

“But we have to make sure we maintain the winning habit – unbeaten in 12 now, with 11 wins and 1 draw.

“We are in form and it’s important we maintain that momentum.

“The squad will be used over the next two games to make sure lads get game time and, just as important, some lads get rests too.

“We know we are in for a tough day on Saturday, so I will expect nothing less than the correct application and attitude from the lads to try get the right result.

“The same goes for Coleshill on Monday; what a job my friend Cameron (Stuart) has done there, with both our teams’ lads coming up from step fiveand challenging at the top.

“Coleshill battered us on New Year’s Day, so we will want to put that right.

“With Coleshill having play off aspirations, it’ll be a interesting game.

“Squad-wise, we look strong in numbers. Everyone is available and we are looking forward to both games.”
