Sporting midfielder Liam Spink has given a positive update on his recovery from the injuries he sustained in our game versus Nuneaton Town (21st November).
Liam broke his leg and dislocated his ankle in the Birmingham Senior Cup match, which was 2-1 to the visitors at the time.
“Cast come off. X-Ray done and they are happy with it,” he said.
“Had a long walking boot put on for six weeks, then I will have an operation end of February to have my pins removed.
“I can start applying gentle pressure on it now using the crutches and getting the movement back in it whilst at home.”
The Nuneaton game has been rescheduled for Tuesday 16th January (7:45 KO).
Everybody at Bromsgrove Sporting wishes Liam well as he continues his recovery.
